Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation, has promoted an experienced hotelier to the influential position of senior vice president of operations.
The management team of Marcus Hotels & Resorts has been strengthened by the arrival of Steve Hilton to its ranks.
In his new role as Senior Vice President of Operations at Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Hilton will lead and oversee the operations of all properties in the group’s portfolio, from the introduction of new systems to talent development. He just assumed the role after serving as General Manager of the company’s Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District hotel.

Hilton first joined the company in 2016 as General Manager of the Omaha Marriott Downtown in the Capitol District, before it opened. The property was named Marriott International Hotel of the Year in 2019 and was promoted to Hotel General Manager in 2020.
Prior to moving to Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Hilton gained experience as General Manager of several other hotels in the United States. He holds an Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina.
